I would like to make contact with Bill McKinney. I served in Madison back in 1996 and Bill was the greatest man I ever met. It has been a long time since I spoke to him. I doubt he is still in the same place in Madison, but if anyone knows his whereabouts or how to contact him, Elder Beckstead would love to say hi. Thanks.

I am trying to find Mark and Regina Colvin. I knew them from Sylacauga in 1997. They have (last I heard) two children, Ammon and Selena. The last I heard the Colvins might have moved to Florida. If anybody knew them please let me know the last you knew where they were at or are at the present time. Thank you.

For anyone who has served in Savannah, TN recently: I am looking for the White's-Jim, Marlene, Tiffany, Tarrence, Travis, and their mother. Also, does anybody know the Sewell family (Alex)in Muscle Shoals? How are things in Camden, AL? Are the Vick's still around? Has anyone heard of Robert Finklea?

I am very sad to report to anyone who served in Sylacauga that Bro. Natali died in a car crash. It seems the Branch is slowly coming apart. President Edwards has also moved to Talladega. Tragic, tragic news. My heart goes to the Sylcauga Branch. I truly became a missionary in this area. They deserve better!

Elder Jay Wooten passed away on March 18, 2007. He leaves behind four children and a wife. He was moving to Utah from California and died from injuries recieved in an auto mobile accident during the move from Fairfield, California to Lehi, Utah.

He introduced the gospel to me along with his companion in 1993 while in Hoover, Alabama. I will be forever greatful and be mindful of him for the rest of my life. I hope all of us will remember the wonderful family he leaves behind. He bessed so many people while he was with us.

Some sad news for those that served in the Greensboro/Moundville/Tuscaloosa. President and Sister Largin were murdered last week. He was a great guy who really did alot for the Greensboro branch. Here's a link to the story: http://www.ledger-enquirer.com/mld/ledgerenquirer/news/local/16930720.htm

Elders and Sisters,

Cindi and I want you to know that we think of you often and have not fallen off the face of the earth. For the past year we have been involved in a new home that we finally moved into at the end of October. This was a monumental event since the only h ome we have lived in with our family for the past 32 years was our previous home and the mission home. We want you to have our new address. Cindi went to our old home today and found a huge stack of Christmas Cards. We were feeling really blue becaus e we had not heard from hardly anyone. Our day is much brighter and we are so thirlled with all the pictures and updates on you and your families. The post office has not forwarded our mail as we had requested.

My Church assignment has kept me busy and I have not been as good as I should at responding in a timely manner to the messages we receive. Please forgive me. Our plan is to have a mission reunion at General Conference. I have to be in Salt Lake for m eetings and so we are going to ask some of the missionaries in Salt Lake to help us put a reunion together for the Friday night. Please watch the Web site and Deseret News for time and place.

Much has happened the past year, lots of happiness, some deep sadness, but all a part of life's vicisitudes. A most profound experience that stills brings tears of tenderness and gratitude are the memories of our mission in Alabama. We love the missio naries, the members, and the non-members that enriched and blessed our lives. I am thrilled in my travels with my Church calling to see many of you and spend time together. I wish there was a way for all of our paths to cross and spend one on one time with you and your families. Best wishes for 2007. May Heavenly Father bless you with his riches blessings. Believe me, I recommend you for them. We love you in depths you will never understand.

Our new address is:

4111 Vista Pinon Drive
Farmington, NM 87401.
